　　ASME's International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition (IMECE) is the largest interdisciplinary mechanical engineering conference in the world. 　　An ASME symposium entitled "Smart Structures and Structronic Systems " (see attachment) at the ASME 2017 International Mechanical Engineering Congress & Exposition (IMECE2017) (Nov. 3-9) in Tampa, Florida, USA.

　　Smart materials and structures usually exhibit multi-field electro/magneto/photo/thermo/elastic coupling behaviors. Smart structures and structronic systems provide novel solutions to real-time distributed sensing, diagnosis, staticnamic control, energy harvesting and other precision applications. This symposium focuses on the multi-field coupling of smart structures and structronic systems encompassing theoretical research and engineering applications.
