Vnoise安装
When you install VNoise you have to follow the following steps:1) Selection of the installation directory. If you have more then one disk you should install Vnoise on the fastest and bigger disk in order to improve the performances of the disk operations.
2) Selection of the modules to be installed. You can install the following modules:
a) VNoise standalone: The main Vnoise program with documentation and tutorials.
b) VNoise Cluster Server: Server for parallel and distributed calculations.
c) VNoise Cluster client: Client for parallel and distributed calculations.
If you do not have a VNoiseCluster license simply install VNoise standalone, while if you have a VNoiseCluster license install all the components (standalone+Server+Client) on the main PC, and install only the VNoiseClusterClient module on the computational nodes.
3)Install drivers for Hardware key. If it is the first time that you install VNoise, the setup procedure will ask you to install the HASP (dongle) drivers. Check the option for installing the drivers and follow the instructions selecting the default options.
4) VNoise memory configuration. As a last step the setup procedure will ask you to define the maximum memory that has to be allocated by VNoise. To optimize performances ypically you should insert a value that is more or less equal to the available physical RAM when you are logged in windows and you do not have any application running (For example for a 512MB system you can allocate 400MB , and for a 1GByte system you can allocate 800-900MB).
