第二届智能系统与知识工程国际会议（ISKE2007）旨在探讨与智能系统和知识工程相关的各个领域的最新研究和进展：
* 在2006-2007中国——比利时国际合作项目：“面向数据挖掘和信息处理的智能系统的方法与应用”框架下，讨论解决知识工程问题所采用的智能系统；
* 促进中国和国际研究机构和大学的共同研究，搭建计算智能和知识系统之间的桥梁；
* 鼓励学科交叉，激发多学科的研究者共同研究面向知识工程的智能系统及其相关领域。

论文投稿截止日期为2007年7月1日。论文应是未发表的研究成果，要求是英文稿，以Atlantis Press提供的模版格式排版，不超过8页。论文通过电子邮件（iske2007@swjtu.edu.cn）提交或通过会议网站在线提交。论文需包含论文题目、作者姓名和完整的联系地址（包含电子邮件、传真和通讯作者的电话）。
论文发表
所有录用论文将由法国Atlantis Press出版（论文有永久的DOI号，并将提交给EI和ISTP去检索）。优秀论文将在会后审稿通过后发表在SCI检索杂志的特刊和Journal of Applied Computational Intelligence (Atlantis Press)中。
会议奖励
会议程序委员会将评出最优秀论文奖2名，最优秀学生论文奖2名和最优秀张贴报告1名，并在大会宴会上颁奖。

Introduction Following the successful 2006 International Conference on Intelligent Systems & Knowledge Engineering (April 6-7, 2006, Shanghai), 2007 International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Knowledge Engineering (ISKE2007) aims at covering state-of-the-art research and development in all aspects related to intelligent systems for knowledge engineering with its missions:
• Discussing research on intelligent systems for solving problems in knowledge engineering partially under the 2006-2007 China-Flanders Project: "Intelligent Systems for Data Mining and Information Processing: Methods and Applications"
• Bridging the gap between computational intelligence and knowledge systems via joint research between China and international research institutes and universities
• Encouraging interdisciplinary research and bringing multi-discipline researchers together on intelligent systems and knowledge engineering and its related fields
