SMX101 is the introductory course for new MSC.SimXpert users.
Studentswill master the basic skills required to use MSC.SimXpert in typical MCAEapplications. They will be introduced to the Structures, Motion, Thermal, andCrash Workspaces. A brief introduction to building and running templates isalso included. SMX101 emphasizes practical skills development throughcomprehensive, hands-on laboratory sessions. Students will learn to buildanalysis models using MSC.SimXpert, define material properties, create boundaryconditions, apply loads, and submit their job for analysis and postprocessresults.
Prerequisites
A basic knowledge of statics and strength of materials is recommended

Take a model through the complete design and analysis cycle
Learn graphics manipulation, imaging, and viewing techniques
